Director & Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist
Chandler Mitchell is a seasoned telecommunications and RF/IF engineer with nearly three decades of expertise in broadcast engineering, optical fibre integration and large-scale network deployments.
He began his career in 1997 at M-Net (now MultiChoice / Canal+ Group) as an RF/IF Engineer, specialising in complex video overlay systems. Holding Level 4 certification in Fibre Optic Integration, Chandler has designed and implemented advanced optical distribution networks across diverse topologies, including hotels, townhouse estates, municipalities, FTTH, FTTB and broader FTTx infrastructure.
In 2001, he established Channel 7 Technology, serving as a MultiChoice Accredited provider for 25 years.
Chandler currently serves as a Director across several key industry ventures, including Phoenix.
High Value Sales, business modelling & Strategic Architect
Timothy provides the strategic and financial modelling for large-scale internet service providers operations. His management style focuses on team collaboration and the successful execution of next-generation network strategies.
Strategic Growth: As the Managing Director of Voice and Data (Pty) Ltd, Timothy pivoted a VOIP-only provider into a comprehensive Next Generation Network internet service providers offering voice, internet, and value-added services (VAS).
Financial Modelling: He is highly skilled in the financial modelling of technology product sets, ensuring sustainable growth and investor-ready revenue streams.
Finding new Markets: Formally part of the TV white space trials, the trials focused on the effectiveness of TV white space as a backhaul medium but more importantly the study into the revenue streams in the mass market by monetising daily Wi-Fi usage, alternate payment gateways and collection methods.
Project Management: Timothy has a history of managing major infrastructure rollouts, including projects involving hundreds of PABX systems for SME and corporate environments.
Wireless Utilization: He views the strategic use of wireless networks—both open ISM and licensed—as critical to capturing market share in the aggressively priced Southern African industry.
